What is the Saturday Classics program?
Saturday Classics is a JCHS World Languages department Community
Service Project. High school and elementary students in grades K-3 are paired to create an educational and interactive time in which they can learn French, German, and Spanish phrases, songs, numbers, and colors. Students will also taste ethnic food, do crafts, and learn about foreign cultures.
Spanish — February 28
German — March 7
French — March 14
Intended for students in kindergarten through third grade.
Cost: $8.00 per language session or $21 for all three
Location: Jennings Co. High School Cafeteria
Passport check-in: 8:45-9:00a.m. in JCHS cafeteria
Parent pick up: 12:00 noon
Please enter through the doors in the commons in the back of the building.
If school is canceled on Friday, Saturday Classics will be canceled and rescheduled.
Registration deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015. If you have any
questions, please email djackson@jcsc.org or call JCHS at 345-5588 and leave a
message for Mrs. Debby Jackson.
Return the bottom portion and $8.00 per session or $21 for all three
languages (checks may be payable to JCHS) to your classroom teacher by February 17, 2015. Money is nonrefundable.

Cole Byram received two honorable mention nods, Kate Eastman received honorable mention for two pieces of sculpture and her portfolio, Lane Sawyer received an honorable mention, and Emily Williams for her portfolio,honorable mention.

To be considered for state financial aid for the 2015-2016 academic year, prospective Indiana college students' Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSAs) must be filed and received at the federal Central Processor by midnight on March 10.  Available online at Fafsa.ed.gov, the FAFSA should be completed by all high school seniors and any other Hoosiers planning to attend college in the fall of 2015.
