  • Explore IUPUC is on Friday, September 21, 2018. For more information about visiting IUPUC and about taking part in our Explore IUPUC program, please complete the IUPUC online registration.
  • The Southeastern Indiana Regional College Fair is on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Hanover College. To register for this fair and others, please visit the Go to College Fairs website.
  • Purdue Women in Engineering is offering a free day-long program titled Seniors Exploring Engineering (SEE) at Purdue on Monday, October 15, 2018. This program centers around senior girls with an interest in engineering. For more information, please visit the Purdue website or call (765) 494.3889. 

Fall Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships available September-November

  • Bartholomew County REMC Scholarship – Established by the Bartholomew County REMC in recognition of the value of education and the desire to assist area students in their educational achievements.
    • Criteria: This scholarship is for residents of Bartholomew County, or members of any Bartholomew County REMC household from Decatur, Jackson, or Jennings counties, who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in pursuit of a technical certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree. Applicant must have a high school or college GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or 5.0 on a 12.0 scale. We will consider academics, school activities, and community involvement.
  • The Indiana Builders Educational Scholarship Foundation has announced their scholarship for this year. These scholarships are for individuals desiring to continue their education to enhance their career in the building industry. Applications are available in the guidance office. Applicants must submit their application no later than September 28, 2018.
  • The Imagine America High School Scholarship is for high school seniors planning to attend a career school participating in the Imagine America High School Scholarship Program. Seniors GPA must be over 2.5 and enroll in a participating school. To learn more, please visit the Imagine America Scholarship page.
  • The Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA) is a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to identifying and developing the academic and leadership potential for exceptional public high school students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.   • QuestBridge is a nationally recognized nonprofit that connects high-achieving, low-income students to full four-year scholarships colleges such as Stanford, Yale, Amherst, and Duke. Please visit the QuestBridge website to learn more.
  • The 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honor students in grades 5-12 who had made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. The student application deadline is on November 6, 2018. Please apply online.

Winter Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships available December-February

  • WACE, on behalf of the nine WACE Partner Institutions, is pleased to announce and sponsor its seventeenth annual national co-op scholarship program. These merit co-op scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and transfer students who plan to participate in college cooperative education at one of our partner institutions.
