A Message from Our Principal

Dear Jennings County High School Students, Parents, Staff, and Community,

In the 2018-2019 school year, our theme is going to be “continuous improvement.” The first coach I ever worked under always asked, "Are you an experienced coach, or have you repeated your first year over and over?" We want to push our students and staff to get better every week. If we are constantly pushing to improve ourselves from week to week the small changes we make in behaviors, attitudes, and habits will produce amazing results.

“It’s the little things you do that make the big things happen.” - Mike Dooley

“Don’t be afraid of improving slowly, be afraid of standing still.” - Leo Babauta

Never be afraid of trying and failing, always work to learn from mistakes and failures, and push yourself to be better the next time. Be prepared for me to ask you “How are you better this week than you were last week?”

Thanks,

Dustin Roller
